Linen Lines

I started the cutting and piecing while I was on the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild retreat in the spring of 2024. I hand-quilted it amongst friends, and around the campfire.

I didn’t use a pattern, but took big inspo from Tara Faughnan’s Bars Quilt. The second side was an improv-pieced rock, using more of the same fabric, floating on black cotton (thrifted bedsheet). I hesitate to call it the back because I really like how BOTH sides turned out. Hand-quilted using cotton thread, big stitch type! Machine-bound, pieced with assorted black cottons and linens.

Contains bamboo batting.
